Plating on Plastic

There are lots of ways to get a metallic appearance on plastic parts. For a lot of applications it is advantageous to actually plate metal on plastic. While plastic on its own is usually non conductive, after either our TMP (conventional metalization) or CRP-NEXS ( direct metalization) the plastic substrate ( ABS or PC/ABS) will become conductive and will be able to under go the electrolytic plating process.
